Pumpkin Patch

When the cutest 4 1/2 year old says "I have never been to a pumpkin patch Mommy!" you know it has been too long since her last visit.  We headed out today as soon as the boys went to school and she loved our 1-on-1 time...not to mention she is FAR from camera shy.  These are just a few :)

Colorado Bend State Park

We just returned from our 2nd annual fall camping trip...this year to Colorado Bend State Park.  We found a 3rd family to join in on the fun too.  The weekend was full of hiking, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, and more than enough food than one could ever ask for.

Day Break Mini Golf

With a no school Monday, we hit up the nearby DayBreak Putt Putt for some much needed sunshine after a cloudy and cold weekend.

After 18 holes we explored the shores (or should I say floors) of our 1/2 full Lake Travis!

Colin's Hope Tri ~ 2012

The boys now have their 3rd triathlon medal!  What started off as a cool rain in the forecast, turned into a cold, wet mess.  Unfortunately, the junior (ages 7-10) boys were the last group to compete and with the heavy rain and slick streets, they eliminated the bike portion. 

 But they kept their hearts and minds focused and had fun!

 

 

Fran and I thought we were the best cheerleaders, until we saw our competition of course...Storm Troopers!

 



Even though Will entered the water a few spots before Alex, the race ended with Alex a few steps ahead at the finish line!  And you can tell Will is still smiling :)

 





Free Range ~ Canopy Style

For a birthday gift, my girlfriends gave me a certificate for zip-lining.  Our Saturday adventure included 2 sky bridges and 7 ziplines;  the longest over 350f feet and most launch and land in platforms up to 40 feet in the trees.  What a great Saturday morning, especially with the cool front.  

Soccer Time...the Supergirls!

Fran's first all girl soccer season and we have the sweetest group of 

'Supergirls' who tore up the field this morning.  

They all had a blast and every one scored at least 1 goal!

Beta Birthday Bash

After experiencing 2 family deaths in 2 days...the need to celebrate life was definitely a priority in our house.  It has been exactly 1 year since we bought our 3 Beta Fish so...

1.  Make a fish cake.

2.  Make a banner.

3.   Invite some friends and their Betas over as soon as school is out.

4.  13 kids and 7 Betas later...the best Beta Birthday Bash in town
